Dr Maddie Gorji graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2006. She trained in anatomical pathology, mainly at Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology and Westmead Hospital. Dr Gorji obtained her FRCPA in 2015 and moved to Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia to work as a dermatopathologist and, as a result, has obtained broad experience in all facets of dermathopathology, including melanocytic lesions, inflammatory conditions and alopecia. Dr Gorji enjoys teaching and has been involved in a variety of teaching activities for dermatology registrars and medical students. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and the University of Notre Dame. Dr Gorji joined Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in February, 2016.
