Dr Kathleen Young graduated top of her class from De La Salle University, Health Sciences Campus, Philippines, in 2003. After moving to Australia, she pursued training in anatomical pathology and attained Fellowship with the RCPA in 2014. Dr Young's experience includes rotations in large, tertiary public hospitals, including John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle, Concord Repatriation General Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and a six-month term in The Children's Hospital at Westmead, as well as the private laboratory Healthscope. During her training, she has been involved in the publication of peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr Young joined Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in November, 2014.
