Dr Karen Cheung graduated in medicine from the University of Sydney and completed her pathology training at the Concord Repatriation General Hospital. Since then, she has been working in both private and public pathology practices and was an Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney. She joined the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia in 2003. Dr Cheung enjoys all aspects of dermatopathology and has a strong commitment to teaching, particularly in microscopic teaching sessions. She is also a part-time Staff Specialist at Nepean Hospital, a teaching hospital of the University of Sydney, and has held this position since 1996. She has been tutoring medical students, plastic surgery, dermatology and pathology trainees throughout her career.
