Dr Jonathan Blackwell is a graduate of the University of Sydney. He trained in both clinical and laboratory haematology at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Subsequently, he was Senior Registrar in the Leukaemia Unit, Hammersmith Hospital, London. Dr Blackwell joined Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in 1996 as a Consultant Haematologist. Dr Blackwell's special areas of interest are malignant haematology, coagulation, obstetric haematology and blood transfusion. He is a member of the Haematology Society of Australia & New Zealand, the Australian & New Zealand Society of Blood Transfusion, the Society of Obstetric Medicine of Australia and New Zealand and the American Society of Hematology.
