Associate Professor Hedley Coleman graduated with distinction as a dentist from the University of the Witwatersrand in 1985. He then completed a Master’s Degree in the branch of Oral Pathology in 1992. In 2003, Assoc. Prof. Coleman obtained a Fellowship from the South African College of Pathologists and, in 2007, the Fellowship in the Faculty of Oral Pathology of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia. In 2011, he was the recipient of a Fellowship from the International College of Dentists. He previously held an appointment as Associate Professor with the ICPMR, Westmead Hospital and the University of Sydney. Assoc. Prof. Coleman has a special interest in training the next generation of pathologists and surgeons in the clinico-pathologic diagnosis of oral and maxillofacial conditions. He joined Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in 2020.
