An outstanding opportunity has become available for an experienced, self-motivated and energetic Assistant to provide support to the Sonic Corporate Liaison and Education Manager, based in our Macquarie Park Head Office.
Reporting to the Sonic Corporate Liaison and Education Manager for Sonic Pathology Australia
Duties include:
• Diary and meeting management, travel and expense administration
• Arranging conferences and meetings, including audio-visual and other out-of-office requirements
• Assisting in coordination of Sonic-sponsored conferences and events
• Helping to organise and participating in seminars and promotional trade displays
• Attending meetings, seminars and training sessions
• Assisting with Sonic Catalyst Activities, including paperwork, shipment and coordination of program
• Maintaining detailed records of all contacts and meetings
• Preparing and maintaining corporate statistical reports
• Liaising with Sonic Australian entities
• Assisting as required
Key attributes:
• A minimum of five years’ experience in an Administrative role, with excellent computer skills (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
• Excellent time management and organisational skills, together with superior written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to anticipate others’ needs
• Ability to multitask and manage changing and conflicting priorities
• A flexible and adaptable outlook whilst working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in a team environment, with a thorough general knowledge of office procedures and administrative functions
• Experience in liaising with Senior Staff
• Discretion, initiative and confidentiality are imperative
