Biography

Professor Simon Clark graduated from the University of Otago, New Zealand. He trained at Wellington Hospital and at Royal Melbourne Hospital. Prof. Clark completed a Fellowship of Dermatopathology at the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia (now known as The Skin Hospital), Sydney and was subsequently appointed as a dermatopathologist. He has worked in public and private pathology and has lectured at the University of Melbourne and the University of Queensland. Prof. Clark is involved in dermatologist and general practitioner education in skin cancer medicine. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland and teaches in the Master of Medicine – Skin Cancer course. In 2016, he was appointed Visiting Professor in Dermatology at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Prof. Clark joined Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in 2011.
