Biography

Dr Thomas Lynch is a graduate of the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He completed his training in the London Deanery Histopathology training program. Dr Lynch rotated through major London teaching hospitals, including Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Hospitals (Charing Cross, St Mary’s, Hammersmith), Royal Free Hospital and Royal Marsden Hospital. He obtained Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists UK in 2016, subsequently obtaining higher certificates in Autopsy Pathology and Cervical Cytology. In 2017, Dr Lynch joined St Mary’s and Charing Cross Hospitals as a Consultant Histopathologist, specialising in gastrointestinal pathology and dermatopathology. He has worked in Australia since 2020, obtaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia by peer review in 2022. Dr Lynch joined Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in May 2022. He is interested in all areas of histopathology, including skin, breast and gastrointestinal pathology.
