Biography

Dr Kim Tran graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1988 and spent several years in clinical medicine at St George and Hornsby Hospitals. She commenced training in anatomical pathology in 1994 at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, after one year of general haematology training at John Hunter and Calvary Mater Hospitals in Newcastle. She has held appointments in both private and public sectors and is currently a Senior Staff Specialist in Anatomical Pathology at St George Hospital and Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. She holds a part-time position at Sydney Adventist Hospital. Her special interests are surgical pathology and dermatopathology, including epidermolysis bullosa.
