Dr Kathleen Merrick received her MBBS from Sydney University in 2009 and completed her internship at Nepean Hospital. She demonstrated a keen interest in anatomical pathology and was granted a position on the training scheme directly after her internship. Dr Merrick started her training at Davies Campbell de Lambert Pathology and later transferred to Concord Repatriation General Hospital, where she completed rotations at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, The Children's Hospital at Westmead and Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology. She was awarded her Fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2016. Dr Merrick joined Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in December, 2018. Her interests include dermatopathology, pulmonary, breast and paediatric pathology and cytopathology.
