Dr Cathy Lim graduated from the University of the New South Wales in 2001. During her residency training, she undertook a Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney, completing an honours project ('Seasonal variation in incidence of cutaneous melanoma in New South Wales, Australia') with Professor Bruce Armstrong. Dr Lim enjoyed pathology training at Davies Campbell de Lambert Pathology, Royal North Shore Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (with a rotation to Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology). During her training, she undertook six months as a Clinical Trials and Pharmaceutical Industries Registrar at St Vincents Clinical Trials Centre and Sanofi Aventis (North Ryde) to further her interest in research. She is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Western Sydney. Dr Lim has special interests in the areas of cytopathology, pulmonary pathology, breast pathology and head and neck pathology.
