A permanent-part time Support Services (Laboratory Aide) position is currently available within the Specimen Reception Department of DHM Pathology at our North Gosford laboratory. The position is for 2 days a week including sick/holiday relief and participation in occasional weekend work.
The position requires a person willing to multi-skill in numerous areas, including unpacking, coding and preparation of pathology specimens for testing, report sorting, data entry and results enquiries. A background in pathology laboratory services and medical terminology is preferred.
The successful applicant will be an honest, reliable and flexible team player displaying a highly motivated and competent approach to work and work ethic. The suitable candidate must be able to interact well with people, demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to integrate within a goal focused, professional and supportive environment.
