Dr Stephen Fairy is a medical graduate of Newcastle University and also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Laboratory Science) degree from Charles Sturt University. He trained in Anatomical Pathology at Concord Repatriation General Hospital and, later, at Westmead Hospital. Prior to joining Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in 2003, Dr Fairy held the position of Staff Specialist Pathologist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He is currently Honorary Secretary of the Australasian Division of the International Academy of Pathology and serves on a number of advisory committees of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.
