Dr Richard Haskell graduated from the University of Otago (NZ) in 1969 and, after two years in rural general practice, returned to Otago University where he trained in general pathology. Dr Haskell has been a pathologist in the Central Coast (NSW) area for more than 30 years, establishing Central Coast Pathology Services as a solo private practitioner in 1997 and merging his practice with Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology in 2003. Dr Haskell practises in the areas of general surgical histopathology and fine needle aspiration cytology.
