Dr Baumgart works partly in clinical practice as a Consultant Physician in Clinical Immunology and Allergy in rooms at St Leonards, Wahroonga and the Sydney Adventist Hospital. He is an HMO at Manly and Royal North Shore Hospitals and is available for inpatient consultations at The Mater and North Shore Private Hospitals. Dr Baumgart has been very active in the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy, serving as President in 2005-6. He has convened Annual Scientific Meetings for the College of Pathology, ASCIA and the KDMA. Dr Baumgart welcomes specific immunology and genetics enquiries, as well as broader laboratory medicine enquiries.
