Special interests: General surgical pathology and cytopathology
Dr Lim completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2001. During her residency training, she undertook a Master of Public Health qualification at the University of Sydney, completing an honours project entitled ‘Seasonal variation in incidence of cutaneous melanoma in New South Wales, Australia’ with Professor Bruce Armstrong. She completed her anatomical pathology training in both private and public hospital laboratories at Davies Campbell de Lambert Pathology, Royal North Shore and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals and Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology. During her anatomical pathology training, Dr Lim also spent six months working at St Vincent’s Hospital Clinical Trials Centre following her desire to expand on research interests. In 2010, she started as a consultant histopathologist at Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology, and enjoys a broad range of areas in general surgical pathology, as well as cytopathology. Dr Lim has recently been appointed as a Conjoint Lecturer at the School of Medicine, College of Health and Science, University of Western Sydney.
