Special interests: Dermatopathology, breast, lymph node, endocrine and soft tissue pathology
Dr Anita Muljono graduated with a medical degree from the University of Sydney, in 2000. As she enjoyed the pathology content of the course, she decided to continue her studies and specialise in pathology. Dr Muljono spent three years training in Westmead Hospital, which included a six-month period in the Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology laboratory as part of the rotation. After another two years within a private pathology practice, she completed her training and FRCPA postgraduate studies in 2007. At that time, Dr Muljono joined Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology’s histopathology and cytopathology departments. Her interests are broad within these areas. She is now extending her knowledge further by focusing on dermatopathology, breast, lymph node, endocrine and soft tissue pathology. Dr Muljono is currently Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Pathology at the School of Medicine, University of Notre Dame.
