Special interests: General pathology and histopathology
Dr Andrew Tan graduated in Singapore and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 1974. He was a lecturer in pathology at the University of Singapore for seven years before coming to Sydney, where he established the Tan Pathology practice, which, for more than 15 years, enjoyed a well deserved reputation for quality, service and ethical practice. In 1994, Dr Tan joined his practice with the Douglass practice. Dr Tan has expertise in many areas of pathology, with a particular interest in gastrointestinal histopathology. He is a member of the Australian Chinese Medical Association.
